Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is President and Chief Commercial Officer at Socure, where he leads the company’s commercial organization across all vertical markets, including financial services, public sector, gaming, marketplaces, crypto and AI.

He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer, helping drive the company’s growth and supporting its evolution into an end-to-end identity and risk decisioning platform.

He brings nearly two decades of experience in digital identity, with leadership roles including co-founder and President of ID.me and leading IDEMIA’s Identity and Security North America business.

Thompson is also a former U.S. Army Special Operations Officer with four combat deployments. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
