CBOs provide services at the local level to meet the varying needs of the communities they serve.  CBOs provide an array of services such as medical, social work, and other behavioral health services, therapies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech language pathology, family supports and services, and respite.  Our CBO clients include licensed primary care clinics, mental health and developmental disability providers, group practices, and other provider types.  CBOs are widely viewed as necessary partners in addressing the health and wellbeing of the community.   Many times, CBOs partner with other entities to collaborate on service delivery.  In addition, funding sources, including federal and state grants, continue to develop and become available to encourage collaboration in this area.
