In the October 2020 issue of Thomson Reuters 2020 New York Metro Super Lawyers magazine, Barry Cepelewicz, M.D. Esq., was quoted in the article entitled “The World Turned Upside Down.”
The article discusses how New York Lawyers are dealing with a pandemic that’s put the law on hold and how various practice areas were affected. In the article Mr. Cepelewicz stated, regarding health care matters and questions from health care providers and practitioners, “Whenever you have hospitals that have people on the front lines and working around the clock in a pandemic like this what every location is trying to do is take care of patients in a safe way, as well as make sure that staff are as safe and protected as they can possibly be.”
Regarding telemedicine, Mr. Cepelewicz stated “A lot of physicians who historically had not used telemedicine started using relatively simple forms of telemedicine,” and “There are quite a few doctors who have been very happy with the way telemedicine was working.”
