Contract pharmacies are central to health centers’ successful participation in 340B. 340B audit findings, however, frequently involve contract pharmacies, especially findings relating to diversion and duplicate discounts as well as the health center’s general lack of oversight of its contract pharmacies. Health centers, as covered entities, are solely responsible for 340B compliance by their contract pharmacies as well as their 340B administrators.
