Averell H. Sutton is an Associate at Garfunkel Wild, P.C., which he joined in 2018. He is a member of the Business, Health Care, and Health Care Information and Technology practice groups, which advise clients on a host of business, transactional, and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sutton was an associate at Ropes & Gray, LLP, where he worked primarily as an investment funds attorney in connection with a variety of hedge funds, private equity funds, and mutual funds.
Mr. Sutton holds a JD/MBA from American University; as well as a Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He received his B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University.
