Mikayla K. Kolahifar
- BIOGRAPHY
Mikayla K. Kolahifar is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group, which represents clients in all phases of civil litigation before both state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution bodies.
Prior to joining the firm, Mikayla worked for a local law firm where she provided legal support to attorneys across multiple practice areas. Mikayla gained practical experience through internships with Hofstra’s Medical Legal Partnership and Community and Economic Development Clinic.
Mikayla focused her law school studies on Health Law. She was an Advanced Research Fellow with the Gitenstein Institute for Health Law and Policy, a Bioscience Business Innovation Fellow with Hofstra Law and the Zarb School of Business, a Social Justice Fellow with the Monroe H. Friedman Institute for the Study of Legal Ethics, and President of Hofstra’s Health Law Society. Mikayla also published her Note, which focused on access to primary care, in the Hofstra Law Review, along with an article centering on pediatric mental health care, in the New York State Bar Association Health Law Journal.
