Michael D. Goldberg is a member of the firm’s Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy, Finance and Banking, and Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Groups.
Michael’s practice includes the representation of both debtors and creditors in a wide array of insolvency proceedings, including Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
Michael also represents both lenders and borrowers in connection with all aspects of commercial and real estate financing transactions, as well as sellers and buyers in connection with sales and acquisitions of various health care businesses.
In connection with his practice, Michael assists clients with the formation of business entities, the negotiation and preparation of corporate governance documents, and the negotiation and preparation of a wide range of contracts.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Carla E. Craig, Chief Judge, and the Honorable Nancy Hershey Lord of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.
