As Co-Chair of the firm’s Corporate/Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group, Greg E. Bloom handles a broad variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, leasing, loans, management, employment and other corporate matters.  He regularly counsels clients regarding business and transactional matters and in legal compliance issues.

Greg’s practice includes the representation of both for-profit and not-for-profit entities, as well as individuals.  He represents clients in many different industries, and has significant experience representing physicians, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, physician, dental and veterinary management companies and other clients in the health care industry.

Greg routinely advises clients in connection with complex transactions, including acquisitions and sales of health care facilities and other businesses, the establishment and operation of ambulatory surgery centers, and joint ventures among health care facilities, physicians and other business entities.

Greg has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2018 for his Health Care Law work. In 2021, Greg was named Long Island Health Care Law “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers. This recognition is only awarded to the one individual attorney with the highest overall peer feedback in each specific practice area and geographic region.

Prior to his career in law, Greg practiced as a Certified Public Accountant, which strengthens his financial background as a transactional attorney.
