Marky Suazo joined Garfunkel Wild, P.C. as an Associate in 2020. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group. Mr. Suazo advises clients in all phases of civil litigation arising in both state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution bodies.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Suazo served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. In this role, he gained invaluable experience managing criminal investigations, prosecuting felonies, and advocating in court.
Before working in the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Mr. Suazo served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Arre, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage.
During law school, Mr. Suazo served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Francis B. Schultz, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson Vicinage.
Mr. Suazo is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.A., magna cum laude, 2013), where he served as president of the Business Law Association and as a student volunteer with Community Outreach and Advocacy for Refugees. He then graduated from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 2017) where he served as a member of the Student Bar Association and a staff editor on the Journal of Conflict Resolution.
