Terence A. Russo is the Chair of the Technology and Cybersecurity practice group. He is also a member of the firm’s HIPAA, Privacy, and Risk Management practice group.
Terence advises hospitals, nursing homes, physician groups and other health care clients on a wide variety of commercial, regulatory and transactional matters with his primary focus on technology transactions. With over twenty years’ experience in health care technology, he is uniquely qualified to avoid the hidden risks specific to health care technology and to negotiate practical contractual safeguards to obtain the maximum protection for his clients. Terence’s broad experience with licensing arrangements, electronic health records, revenue cycle solutions, technology development, outsourcing, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, population health, data mining and other types of technology agreements allows him to advise clients on industry standards which often streamlines negotiations and leads to better client outcomes.
Terence also provides regulatory analysis and compliance reviews for health care technology solutions, especially in connection with data privacy laws and the acquisition and distribution of medical technology rights and products.
