Dayna B. Tann joined Garfunkel Wild, P.C. in 2011.  She is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group, which represents clients in all phases of civil litigation before both state and federal courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution bodies.  She is also a member of the firm’s Employment and Workforce Management Group.

Dayna is experienced in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and health care litigation.  She has a broad range of litigation experience handling complex commercial litigation and business disputes, including breach of contract and business tort claims, payer-provider reimbursement disputes, employment actions, disability discrimination and accommodation claims, and physician practice disputes.  She has counseled both individuals and businesses in all phases of litigation and appeals, in state and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration.

Dayna also has broad employment law experience, defending clients against various types of employment claims, including harassment and discrimination based on age, race, gender, national origin, and disability, as well as claims under the Americans With Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, False Claims Act, whistleblower laws, wrongful discharge, breach of employment contract, defamation and non-compete/restrictive covenant agreements.

Dayna serves as co-editor of “In the New York State Courts,” a summary of recent court decisions in health care law.  The column is a regular feature of the Health Law Journal published by the Health Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.
