Alan Perzley is veteran commercial real estate attorney with more than 40 years’ experience. His practice includes all aspects of commercial leasing, including office, retail, warehouse, industrial and ground leases. Alan regularly represents landlords and tenants in lease transactions– ranging from small spaces to hundreds of thousands of square feet of space. Since joining Garfunkel Wild P.C. in 2003, Alan has developed a special expertise representing physicians and other health care providers with leases for hospital and medical office space, diagnostic imaging centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult medical day care centers, and ambulatory surgery centers.

Alan’s practice also includes representation of institutional and private lenders in mortgage loans and other secured transactions. He also represents borrowers in commercial loan transactions.

Alan also represents buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of commercial real estate. This aspect of his practice includes financing of properties and working with consultants and regulators with regard to environmental remediation issues, as well as negotiating AIA construction documents, landlord-tenant issues, and handling land use and zoning matters.

In addition, Alan has experience in the areas of medical and long-term care facility licensing, guardianships and estate planning, and regularly advises businesses in connection with corporate, insurance, employment and general business matters.
