Ambulatory Surgery Center Association’s ASCA 2026

Garfunkel Wild’s Salvatore Puccio and David M. Traskey will be presenting at the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association’s ASCA 2026, May 13-16, 2026.

Salvatore Puccio will present “Navigating Challenging Behaviors in the ASC” – This session will discuss addressing and preventing issues with staff is critical and essential to your ASC’s well-being. In this session, we will explore some of the most common and, at times, difficult human resources issues facing ASCs in today’s workplace landscape. This session will cover topics including accommodation requests, management training, I-9 verification, and the unqualified or disruptive physician.

David M. Traskey will present “Compliance Trends for ASCs” – This session will offer an inside look at the US Department of Health & Human Services, Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG), highlighting emerging compliance issues that ASCs face. Attendees will learn best practices for responding to government inquiries, investigations, audits and inspections, gaining practical guidance to strengthen compliance and reduce risk.
