Governor Cuomo Announces New York City is Open for Elective Surgeries

During Governor Cuomo’s press briefing today, June 8, 2020, he announced that New York City is open for elective surgery and ambulatory care.  This means that elective surgery and non-emergent procedures may be provided in licensed settings (e.g., ambulatory surgery centers) provided the guidelines published by the New York State Department of Health (“NYDOH”) are met.  The following links will take you to the NYDOH Guidance:
