Managing the Remote Workforce: Employer Best Practices and Legal Considerations

VIEW ON DEMAND

As part of our “Employment Law - What Employers Need to Know Now” webinar series,  Garfunkel Wild’s Andrew Zwerling and Lauren Levine will present the webinar “Managing the Remote Workforce: Employer Best Practices and Legal Considerations” on May 8, 2024, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (ET).

Telecommuting arrangements have become increasingly common, particularly in light of technological advances that have made it relatively easy to perform many job duties outside the confines of a traditional office.   Join Andy and Lauren as they address some of the common issues that employers encounter with remote employees and best practices for addressing these issues as the growing trend of telecommuting continues. They will also cover the legal implications associated with remote workers such as anti-discrimination laws, wage and hour, workers’ compensation, workplace safety, paid leave, and drug testing.

CLE credit. This Webinar is approved in New York for newly admitted and experienced attorneys for 1.0 Credits in Professional Practice. CLE credit will only be provided to those who attend the live broadcast of the webinar.
